Through education and immersion in ancient practices, I've experienced healing and the deepening of connection between myself and nature. Through meditation and staying open to the creative spirit within, I've come to believe that it is my purpose to grow with these practices, adapting and sharing them to make them accessible to others.

As life has unfolded, it's given me the opportunity and physical space to make my vision a reality. It is with trust, immense gratitude, effort, and my full heart that I offer my creation of Elemental Roots. I welcome all humans with the intention of giving you the tools to communicate, resonate, and emanate the energy within yourself to the elements of nature. I vow to be present and offer my knowledge, practice, and experience to those seeking ways to feel better, be more connected, and grounded in their mind, body, heart, and spirit.

House of Yin the home of Elemental Roots.

Hi! Thanks for finding your way here. I’m Elaina Ziesche.

I’ve always been curious about life. I remember being a kid laying in bed and thinking: “Who am I? How did I get here? What is this place?” I enjoy wandering, walking, and paying close attention to the world around me and the creatures who share it with us.

Above all the titles and roles I hold in life and work, what matters most to me is how I show up. Being present in the moment is easier said than done—it’s something that must be felt. I believe that shifting out of the intellect and back into the body is key to feeling truly connected to life.

My own experiences of disconnection, harm, and trauma have brought me back to my body’s deeper “knowing”—and they continue to do so through the practices I utilize in daily life.

Becoming a mother has deepened my discernment and strengthened my commitment to living a life rooted in creation, love, and kindness. My education, experiences, and practices continue to evolve and adapt with each new chapter of life.

In 2011, I began my first teacher training in yoga and meditation with Juliana Trejo Bossano (The Art of Yoga) in Coral Springs, FL, completing a 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training.

In 2016, I studied with Ariela Grodner and received a 108-hour Thai Massage certification through the Bodhi Sangha School of Thai Massage. That same year, I traveled to New York to study with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa at Golden Bridge Yoga NYC, completing a Kundalini Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training.

In 2017, I went on to complete an advanced 300-hour Mystical Yoga Teacher Training on Lake Atitlán, Guatemala, through the School Yoga Institute. This immersive training focused deeply on the Andean medicine wheel and shamanic practices, weaving indigenous wisdom into yogic philosophy.

My yoga, meditation, and Thai massage studies guided me to learn more about the art of bodywork. In 2019, I graduated from the Florida School of Massage with studies in Massage Therapy & Hydrotherapy. I believe in the support and integration of this work in healing arts. I provide a space for clients to ask for what they need with the encouragement of breath and energy to explore.

In 2015, I was introduced to cacao as a plant medicine and ceremonial ally.
Continuing to sip and experience the healing properties of this warm drink deepened my relationship with it and a desire to learn more about its many benefits.

I’ve traveled to Lake Atitlán, Guatemala, where I attended both private and public ceremonies led by local Mayan shamans and the late Keith Wilson of Keith’s Cacao. I also visited BFREE Reserve in Belize to study the agroforestry of cacao and understand its role in ecosystem restoration and sustainable farming.

For many years, I made this drink for myself, sat in stillness, and developed a writing practice alongside it. It has assisted me in healing matters of the heart! It has illuminated my creative process and opened space for emotional integration.

Even now, I continue to welcome the spirit of Mama Cacao into everything I do. She has taught me how to open my heart while honoring vulnerability, and how to hold space for that openness in myself and others. Cacao has taught me about real compassion, one that is felt by kind action and reverence for each other’s differences.

I feel continually inspired, supported, and integrated with the plant allies all around us. My studies in herbalism, flower essences, tea, and plant medicine are ever-evolving, flowing with the seasons and cycles of life.

I am a mystic mama, a full-spectrum holistic doula certified through The Matrona, and an integrative energy and bodyworker.

I gave birth to my son at home in December 2020, and to my daughter at home in May 2023. Becoming a mother has brought depth and fullness to my life—a way to experience it more sweetly and slowly. I aim to nurture and mother myself, my family, my work, and to hold a deep reverence for the feminine mystic.

I specialize in working with those who are pregnant, postpartum, or healing from womb-related traumas. My energy and bodywork practice is informed by a range of modalities, including initiations in shamanic practices, Reiki (Second Degree), polarity therapy, and Thai massage.

I welcome parents, caregivers, sensitive nervous systems, those in grief, and any human navigating this realm. I believe support, trust, and comfort are essential during transitional times. I honor the sacred cycles of life, death, and rebirth, and the relationships we hold within them.

I’m elated to be part of the awe-inspiring space and community at House of Yin. My intention is to weave together the healing arts I’ve studied and practiced—creating a space where others feel supported, seen, and gently held in their own timing.

Presence is the most important part of this journey!

My practice is rooted in the awareness of our interconnection with all things—much like the fascia in our bodies, which supports, connects, protects, and gives shape to our physical form.

We are here to help one another: to offer a kind word, a thoughtful gesture, or a moment of presence to anyone we meet in daily life.
This is how change happens—not through grand gestures, but little by little, in the spaces between.
This is the quiet magic of witnessing someone else’s process.

I believe there is so much to observe, give, and receive—from one another, and from this beautiful land of Mama Earth. These practices have gifted me space to learn, to feel, and to embrace this wild human existence.
I’m honored to share these tools with others.
